Fiorentina from the Italian Serie A (top professional league
in Italy) has chosen Central Florida to host their first
official ACF Fiorentina Camp USA. The Seminole
Soccer Complex
will serve as the venue for this special training environment
featuring Alberto
Bollini, ACF Fiorentina director of camps.

Train
the way the future of Fiorentina trains. Alberto
Bollini, Director of Camps for ACF Fiorentina, will be
directing our camp curriculum using the same methods
used to train the youth of the Italian Serie A
club. Every player will use the same exercises as
Fiorentina youth players and learn what it takes to
reach the professional level. |
The
summer of 2010 comes a new, big opportunity for players
between 10 and 15 years old to learn the way of the best
professionals of Fiorentina. Fiorentina
camps are organized
by the club's coaches, technicians, assistants and physical
education teachers who make up the team of professionals
entrusted with the sports training and entertainment of
children. Players
in the camp will be divided into working groups depending on
age and technical capacity. All players will
receive an official ACF Fiorentina
certificate and technical diploma.

DIRECTOR:
Professor
Alberto Bollini will be arriving
directly from Italy where he directs all Fiorentina camps
which reflect the popular youth development model of the
Florence club. Mr. Bollini brings a wealth of experience
and knowledge directly from the Italian youth development
system and philosophy. His current role within ACF
Fiorentina is to direct all youth camps throughout Italy as
well locations in other countries. He has a dynamic
personality that reflects the passion of Italian
football. His credentials are impressive:

CURRICULUM:
Specific
lessons will be conducted on the basic techniques (shooting,
receiving, ball control, header, domain) and technique applied
to the concepts of brand and unmarked, the exercises are
supplemented with themed games to develop the best
characteristics relating to football games and to improve the
quality of coordinative and technical participants.
Player will also be apply lessons learned using technique and
specific roles in organized camp tournaments to
test themselves against other players. All players will
learn Fiorentina's training theory of football.
For
goalkeepers will receive a specific training under the guidance of
professional goalkeeper coach Ferrante directly from Italy.

BACKGROUND
- Fiorentina have
won two Italian Championships, in 1955-56 and again in
1968-69, as well as winning six Coppa Italia trophies and one
Italian Super Cup. On the European stage Fiorentina won the
UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1960-61 and lost the final one year
later, they finished runners-up in the 1956–57 European Cup
losing against Real Madrid and also came close to winning the
UEFA Cup, finishing as runners-up in the 1989-90 season.
Since
1931 the club have played at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, which
currently has a capacity of 47,282. The stadium has used
several names over the years and has undergone several
renovations. Fiorentina are known widely by the nickname Viola,
a reference to their distinctive purple colours.
