U18's go undefeated in Raleigh

ORLANDO,
FLORIDA (Wednesday, December 05, 2007) - The FC America
Kumba Under 18 girls coached by Lindsey Affolter,
Jaymi Bailey, and George Sasvari
went undefeated in the Raleigh Shootout College
Showcase in Raleigh, NC. They defeated Dallas
Sting West Royal (Texas) 3-1, FC Carolina Alliance
89 Red (NC) 3-0, and Hockessin Frost (DE)
3-0.

Guldtraening Completed

ORLANDO,
FLORIDA (Saturday, September 15, 2007) - George
Sasvari returned from Denmark from his final
session for the Fynen Boldklub Union (FBU) part of
the Danish Boldklub Union (DBU) teaching the
course Guldtraening fa Pige (Gold Training for
Girls). The program completed a two year
project initiated by the Danish Soccer Federation
(FBU-DBU) targeted to coaches of female players on
how to develop creativity through training
methods.
The
program was offered to clubs for U10/U12 coaches
of girls teams. Over 16 clubs signed up for
the course with over 75 coaches attending the
sessions. Overall over 600 players also
participated in the program along with their
respective coaches. Coaches were trained on
how to implement the SasvariWay curriculum with

International Soccer Academy succeeds

AUBURNDALE,
FLORIDA (Monday, July 16, 2007) - The 4th Annual
International Soccer Academy kicked off July 3
with players flown in from Denmark, Scotland,
Spain and Hungary. "We had five villas with 6
bedrooms each where players from each of these
countries stayed." said Sasvari. "Players from all over Florida
drove in to stay with our international players.
These players trained, ate, and lived together
throughout their time in America.
International coaches Jim Smith (Scotland)and Keld Gantzhorn
(Denmark)flew in with players from both their countries,
Scotland and Denmark. Keld is the former women's
national team coach in Denmark for the 1991 and
1996 world cups. "This is the only
international camp in America that has both
players and coaches from Europe. With training
sessions in the morning and afternoon, our players
were exposed to all the styles of play other
countries used on both the male and female side of
the ball."
The Danish team brought in by Keld
Gantzhorn, Hjalleseskolen, were Danish national
champions with close to 100 players in their club.
Marlene Kristensen brought in a Danish women's
team from Oure. Kristensen is a
former national team player from Denmark and was
part of the World Cup team that represented
Denmark in the United States in 1999.
Friendly matches were played between Scotland,
Denmark, Auburndale High school and the Georgia
state champions and state runner-ups. Oure from
Denmark played the Kumba Under 18 team in two
friendly matches. Players also visited Universal
Studios, Islands of Adventure, Seaworld, Florida
Mall and the Premium Outlets.

DENMARK (Thursday, June 28, 2007) - George Sasvari
returned last June from another successful trip to
Denmark. Besides teaching the course
Gold-Training for Girls Part II for the Danish
soccer federation, he also trained the Junior
Girls team from Kerteminde Boldklub. Click

announces the return of Jaymison Bailey

2007) – SasvariWay
is very pleased to announce the return of Jaymison
Bailey to a full-time staff position. Jaymi
has been living and working in Nashville, TN
promoting his Strike It Rite ball and completing a
degree in music management after retiring from
professional soccer. He has served part-time
on the SasvariWay staff as a director and staff
coach. As a player he played for Hampton
Roads Mariners and the Nashville Metros of the USL
1st Division where he led the league in
assists. He also has trained in Europe with
Odense Boldklub (Denmark), SC Herenveen (Holland),
Cyde Bank (Scotland), and FC Lustenau (Austria).
Under
18 Kumba advance for 3rd time to Final Four

ORLANDO,
FLORIDA (Tuesday,
May 15,
2007) – The
Under 18 Kumba from FC America has advanced to the
FYSA Final Four for the third (3rd) time in four
(4) years. The team avenged last year's loss
in the state cup quarter finals by defeating
Parkland Predators in penalty kicks after 90
minutes of regulation and 20 minutes of
overtime.
The team
already has celebrated their final year
together with 15 players going on to play college
soccer and winning the Disney Showcase as well as
defeating the Bahamas Women's National team.
Under
11 FC America Kumba Advance to Region Cup Final

GAINESVILLE,
FLORIDA (Sunday,
March 11,
2007) – The
Under 11 FC America Kumba advanced to the Region
Cup Final Four after winning their group and
earning the #1 seed this past weekend. The
under 11 girls performed consistently well
throughout the weekend scoring only when necessary
and giving up no goals to win all three group
games and advance to the region finals in two
weeks.
The team
defeated Creeks Clash from Jacksonville 2-0,
Indialantic (Melbourne Beach) 1-0, and Space
Coast United (Melbourne) 1-0. Brittany R., Casey B.,
Nikki L., and Victoria C. all shared goalkeeping
duties to earn the shutouts. The remainder
of the team includes Abby L., Alex B., Brianna,
L., Caroline S., Jessie H., Kelly B., Lindsey J.,
and Lisa H. who are all coached by George Sasvari
and Brandon Mahanna. The GK's are trained by
Stacy Kuhr. Region Cup finals take place March
24-25 at Viera Park in Melbourne.
