The JUNIOR Premier Academy was developed specifically for these age groups so they can have an opportunity to compete with and against the best players. Premier level players seek out the highest level of competition. They regularly reach the finals of tournaments. They expect more from themselves and thrive on competition while enjoying the spirit that comes with playing soccer.
This age group of premier 9-14 years old usually get overlooked at most camps only to be placed with older kids where they may get a challenge, but are still an afterthought. Premier level players (male and female) ages 9 - 14 only are invited to this event and should have experience in playing at the premier and/or elite club level. The goal is to create a focused and challenging training environment that will inspire and bring out the best in each participant.
U9-U12 SELECT - For players at the younger half (7v7, 9v9) of our age spectrum. u12 players can choose between Select or Premier (u12-u14) depending on their experience and level of challenge desired. U12-U14 PREMIER - For players competing at 11v11 and ready for higher levels of challenge.
"We are passionate about developing creative players." - The JUNIOR Premier Academy curriculum focuses on developing creativity in players, using creativity to solve small-sided tactical situations, creative one versus one dribbling, using creativity to set-up and score goals, and improving overall speed of thought and speed of play.
Since 1995, SasvariWay has promoted the philosophy of functional development, guided discovery, and an environment which develops a players ability to find creative solutions to problems faced on the field.
Why JUNIOR Premier Academy? We designed this special event because 10-14 year old kids usually get overlooked at most camps only to be placed with older kids where they may get a challenge, but are still an afterthought.
Field Sessions are designed based on the needs of the players in camp rather than a predetermined list of exercises which do not take into account each player's ability. Each and every Training for the Serious Player camp develops the curriculum during the program so that every playerlearns, competes, and is challenged outside his/her comfort zone.
Players are separated by skill and age with a focus on skills first so players are training in a competitive and challenging environment.
Classroom Sessions focused on Goal Setting and Personal Development. Our philosophy is that those who succeed in life have strong core values and are secure in their personality with a feeling of control over their achievements.
Video of field sessions are analyzed in the classroom so players can evaluate their ability to learn the curriculum. Video sessions are followed up with field sessions to execute on perfecting concepts.
Small-Sided Tactical Situations - featuring the popular SasvariWay methodology for teaching players to find creative solutions to problems faced during a match. Emphasis is placed on players learning to read the game and find the best solutions for each situation through a decision-making process with and without the ball.
